BAOD EXTRUSION (Jiangsu Baodie Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.) founded in 2002, dedicated to designing, manufacturing and sales of plastic extrusion equipment. Based on 18 years experience of designing and fabricating high quality machines in Taiwan, the original parent company (KINGSWEL GROUP) invested in establishing extrusion machines manufacturing base in Shanghai in 1999.
Leveraging a rich heritage of Taiwanese precision engineering and mainland manufacturing efficiency, BAOD Extrusion has evolved into a key leader in high-performance polymer extrusion systems. Our technological focus is anchored on four pillars:
Every BAOD system undergoes stringent factory acceptance testing (FAT) before shipment, ensuring rapid deployment and seamless operational start-up.
An in-depth analysis of polymer rheology, custom screw configurations, thermal stabilization, and system performance optimizations.
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is unique in the polyolefin family due to its long-chain branching (LCB). This molecular structure provides LDPE with exceptional melt elasticity and shear-thinning characteristics. When processed through an extruder, these properties mandate specialized engineering designs to avoid melt fracture and thermal degradation.
Under high shear rates, the long-chain branches align, resulting in a dramatic reduction in viscosity. However, at the exit of the die, the material exhibits significant elastic recovery, commonly known as die swell. To counteract this, our custom-designed LDPE extrusion lines implement precision-engineered dies with calculated compression ratios and land lengths. This design guarantees consistent wall thickness and cross-sectional stability, even at high output rates.
The heart of the LDPE extruder is the screw. Conventional general-purpose screws fail to process LDPE efficiently due to poor distributive mixing and excessive melt temperatures. BAOD Extrusion designs and manufactures custom SJ series single-screw extruders featuring high L/D ratios (ranging from 28:1 to 33:1).
Our screws integrate barrier zones and Maddock mixing elements. The barrier flight separates solid polymer pellets from the melted pool, preventing un-melted solids from passing forward and causing structural weaknesses. The mixing elements provide the necessary shear to homogenize additives, color masterbatches, and processing aids without elevating the melt temperature beyond the polymer's thermal stability limit.
Global sourcing directors are facing shifting compliance and quality frameworks. The demand for LDPE and HDPE precision tubing is rising in fields like medical devices (catheters, IV lines), micro-duct systems for fiber optic routing, and automotive multi-layer fuel transfer systems.
Procurement criteria have transitioned from simple capital cost evaluations to Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments. Key purchasing requirements include:
In many engineering scenarios, a single polymer layer does not meet performance requirements. BAOD Extrusion provides integrated multi-layer co-extrusion solutions. For example, in automotive fuel lines, we integrate LDPE/HDPE layers with EVOH or Polyamide barrier layers to prevent volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from escaping, complying with strict global emission standards.
Our co-extrusion technology features high-precision crosshead dies, where multiple polymer streams merge under strictly controlled temperatures. This layout prevents layer delamination and maintains uniform wall distribution across the pipe profile.

Pioneering advancements in digital integration, material formulation, and closed-loop process engineering.
As the plastics extrusion sector aligns with digital transformation (Industry 4.0), the integration of sensor arrays and closed-loop AI control is a key priority. BAOD Extrusion is developing systems that utilize laser measurement devices to monitor profile outer diameters (OD) and wall thicknesses in real time. These devices transmit data directly to the extruder's PLC, which automatically adjusts screw and puller speeds to maintain tolerances.
Furthermore, our engineering roadmap prioritizes compatibility with bio-based polymers and post-consumer recycled (PCR) resins. Extruding recycled LDPE introduces variations in melt flow index and shear response. To resolve this, our next-generation control systems utilize adaptive software algorithms that dynamically adjust zone temperatures based on screw torque fluctuations, ensuring a uniform melt state regardless of feed variations.
Operating production lines internationally requires strict adherence to localized safety and engineering standards. BAOD extrusion machinery is certified to meet CE standards, UL compliance configurations, and ISO 9001:2015 quality management benchmarks. Our electrical panels are designed with high physical segregation, certified circuit breakers, and clear wiring layouts to facilitate local authority inspections.
To ensure operational uptime, we offer a multi-tiered localized support model:
