BAOD EXTRUSION (Jiangsu Baodie Automation Equipment Co., Ltd.) founded in 2002, dedicated to designing, manufacturing and sales of plastic extrusion equipment. Modern manufacturing has shifted rapidly from vulcanized EPDM rubber toward advanced Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) and Thermoplastic Vulcanizates (TPV). EPDM requires complex, space-consuming chemical curing lines, while TPE allows thermoplastic processing methods, providing dramatic reductions in carbon footprints and total production cycles.
TPE formulations (including SEBS, TPO, TPV, TPU) provide outstanding resistance to UV degradation, low temperature flexibility, and chemical cross-linking. Crucially for automotive and structural industries, TPE is fully recyclable. TPE extrusion success depends heavily on melt temperature consistency. Inconsistent melt viscosity leads to dimensional variations in complex sealing lips. Our screw profiles feature specific L/D ratios (usually 28:1 or 30:1) with dedicated barrier mixing sections to prevent shear overheating while maintaining complete homogenization.
Our extruders integrate high-torque helical gearboxes with internal oil cooling loops and multi-zone PID barrel heating. We use high-precision ceramic heaters with forced-air cooling fans to hold temperatures within ±1°C of the target setpoint.
